This is an episode we've planned, then postponed, then planned again, then postponed AGAIN, and now...we have finally arrived at two very highly regarded films that we have somehow gone almost 100 episodes without discussing: No Country For Old Men, and There Will Be Blood. Not only were these two of the highest regarded films of the 2000s, but it is also our first foray into the work of Paul Thomas Anderson.

He gave so much to comedy in his 98 years and so we felt we owed it to him to go back and watch his breakout directorial effort The Jerk, as well as a later comedy Summer Rental, starring the late-great John Candy.

In this episode, we take advantage of the SXSW screenings that were made available by Amazon Prime. The first film is a French narrative feature titled Le Choc Du Futur about a woman trying to push electronic pop music into the mainstream. The second viewing was a documentary feature titled TFW No GF which covers the community of online trolls knows "incels" by following six members of that community over the course of two years.
