Amber and her partner Ron Extract have worked in the beer industry for a number of years, including long stints with a BaaM favorite, Jester King. Amber shares and talks beer with the gents, and offers some insight into the creative brewing practices of her and Ron’s new venture, Garden Path Fermentation. This is one for the real beer nerds!

In this episode, we talk about the new film Lords of Chaos. Based on a book of the same name, the film chronicles the early days of "TRUE NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL" and the relationship between two key founding members, Euronymous (Mayhem) and Varg (Burzum). The film takes us from the inception of Mayhem to the killing of its leader Euronymous by his friend Varg.
We are joined by our good friend Josh DeLeon to discuss the film and his relationship to it as someone who's very familiar with black metal and the story surrounding its founders that the film portrays. Then we come in from a novice point of few and discuss how our understanding of the events shapes the way we see the film.
