This week's themed episode is Movies We Missed In Theaters. We cover Boots Riley's debut Sorry To Bother You and all of its insanity. Then we thought we would tone it down with Eight Grade and turns out that one got us more heated than the former. Ethan and Carlos yell at each other about the difference three years make, David finds the good in everything, and we discuss the reality and absurdity that both films root themselves in respectively. 20: A True Master Of Puppets - Overlord / Bad Robot

In this episode, David, Ethan, and Carlos watch Overlord, a recent release in the World War II genre, but with a twist. Afterward, they take a look at the production company Bad Robot, founded by JJ Abrams and look at the impact BR has had on cinema and television. Of course, there is beer involved. Dig in. 

19: The Halloween Special w/ Special Guest piinkhat

This week is a special Halloween crossover episode where we kidnapped co-host of World's Great Complainer podcast and forced him to talk to us about Halloween (2018) directed by David Gordon Green. After that, we dive into the original John Carpenter film (1978), the sequels, and Rob Zombie's remakes/reboots. We also drink a few beers along the way.

Trigger warning: we talk about horror films, which we all know depict horrific things (hence the name), but in this episode, there is a film that contains a rape scene which is briefly mentioned, albeit, in very little detail.

In this episode, we take a dive into the world of Electronic Horror Soundtracks and the evolution therein. We start all the way back with the Theremin (google it, it's wild), and get up to present-day, touching on Goblin, John Carpenter and others along the way.

The title of the episode explains it all...we talk about Nicolas Cage's most recent film, an action/horror revenge film titled Mandy. Then we take a larger look at his filmography and decide, Nick Cage: Good Or Bad??? (Shout Out To Dan Harmon and Community and Abed)

16: Living In The Woods In A Tree - Blaze / Heartworn Highways

In this episode, David, Ethan, and Carlos discuss Ethan Hawke's film "Blaze", based on the life of Blaze Foley as told by his ex-wife, Sybil Rosen. Then they take a look back to a similar time in country music with the seminal documentary "Heartworn Highways". Beer is provided by Avery and Lord Hobo Brewing Company. 

15: Never Seen It - 90's Flops!

In this episode, Ethan, David, and Carlos go where not many people in the 90s dared go...to movies that failed miserably. We talk Hudson Hawk, Cutthroat Island, and the Postman. Beers from Prarie Artisan Ales are the only thing that could get us through it. 

14: Jump The Shark - The Meg & Sharknado 6: It's About Time

Well...this one seems self-explanatory. We talk about THE MEG!!! And Jason Statham and what not. Then we also talk about the CLASSIC film Sharknado 6: It's About Time. We get into what makes these seemingly absurd movies so much fun and Ethan gives one of the all-time hottest takes we've heard on this show.

13: A Region Of Peril - Mission Impossible 6 and Other Tom Cruise Related Nonsense

Well...this one is...quite something. We really went for it this time for our talk about Mission Impossible 6 and everything Tom Cruise. We enter some risky territory and drink some great beer, and some unfortunately rotten beer as well, and then back around again to some great beer. Ethan introduces a new game to the podcast and Carlos trashes a beloved 80's/90's filmmaker. Go dive into this one, you don't want to miss it.
